Our secure memory care unit is specifically designed for those Members who have developed Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. The unit includes private suites and comprehensive staff of skilled nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants. Each suite features a memory box filled with photographs and memorabilia special to that Member.

While the memory care unit is a secure area within Cobblestone, each Member continues to enjoy the same high quality, restaurant-style dining experience. Regular checks on Members occur every two hours to make sure that all of their needs are being met.

The care that each Member receives in the Memory Care Unit goes beyond medical attention. The staff prepares daily activities that cater to memory retention and enhancement.
