A Higher Level Care
Park Springs is proud to have received the highest quality score as a Five-Star Medicare Certified Skilled Nursing unit in Atlanta. Should you or your spouse ever require long-term skilled care Park Springs provides only private rooms or private suites for our Members. In addition, the same high-quality, restaurant-style dining experience exists in all levels of care at.
- In an industry with typical staff-to-patient rations of one certified nursing assistant (CAN) to every 15-20 patients, our ratio is one CAN to every 8 patients—possibly the highest staffing levels in Georgia. As a result our staff builds quality relationships with Members and has additional time to provide a higher quality of care. Our staff feels good about the care they give each day, and because of this, we’re able to attract and retain some of the best health care professionals.
- By planning around Member needs, preferences and normal routines, we provide resident-centered care—the highest quality of medical and rehabilitative care in a homelike environment, where individuality is embraced and wellness is in focus. Members decide what time to get up or go to bed, when to take a bath or shower, and when and what to eat—including snacks, readily available anytime of day or night.
- Staff turnover is typically very high in our industry; however, Park Springs has no problem retaining health care professionals. Staffing rations, the overall environment, and incomparable benefits package, scholarship program and positive opportunities for staffing interactions with management make Park Springs a great place to work. In fact, we have a substantial list of long-term care professionals awaiting their opportunity to work at Park Springs.
- Wellness doesn’t stop with medical services; our large long-term care activities staff provides a full spectrum of daily physical, emotional and spiritual, social and intellectual programs to stimulate recovery, heath and well-being. We believe an active, engaging lifestyle shouldn’t stop just because you require a higher level of medical care.
- Isolation can be a debilitating factor, especially in long-term care. At Park Springs, long-term care activity programs are augmented by Member volunteers who conduct one-on-one visits and participate in group programs right alongside their friends and fellow members in higher levels of care.
